Help Save One of the UK\u2019s Rarest Mammals \u2013 The Water Vole<\/h2>\n

You can help by donating today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

INCC and our partners are working urgently to save the Water Vole (Arvicola amphibius<\/em>)\u2014one of the UK\u2019s fastest-declining and most threatened mammals. Once a familiar sight along our rivers and streams, Water Voles have disappeared from much of Wales. Without immediate action, we risk losing them forever.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have lost so many of our Water Voles in Wales over the past fifty years or so. If we don\u2019t do something urgently, we may end up losing this wonderful animal for good. Projects like this, that bring together conservationists, universities and local communities give us hope that we can save the Water Vole and lots of other species and their habitats as well.\u201d<\/em>
