Llwyndewi nature reserve appeal

Support our work on the nature reserve

Llwyndewi – Wild Cymru’s first nature reserve – is special. With 59 hectares of rolling hills, wetlands, and woodlands at the very headwaters of the Afon Llwchwr, it is alive with possibility, but urgently needs work to realise its potential for wildlife.

We have been fortunate to receive support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund whilst we develop a large project to support Llwyndewi. Next spring we will be making a full bid for £650,000 covering five years, and we need your help to raise the match funding required. Should we be unsuccessful in our bid, your donations will still be invested in the nature reserve.

£5 would buy gloves for volunteers managing invasive species. £20 would buy a nest box suitable for Pied Flycatchers. £100 would buy enough wildflower seed to restore 150 square metres of meadow. £200 would buy a new stock gate to help us manage essential conservation grazing.
